-111 DR * Enormous orc hordes emerge from of the Spine of the World and the Ice Mountains and rampage across the entire North in the Orc Marches. The dwarven community of Gauntlgrym is taken by the orcs while Delzoun is devastated. Illusk falls, but the majority of its people escape by sea or with magic. The elven communities of Eaerlann, Iliyanbruen, Rilithar, and Siluvanede ally together to fight the orcs and stop them at the High Forest and Dessarin Valley.

-1100 DR * Elves slay the last great wyrm dragon of the Wyrmwood, and seize the forest. * In the Wyrmwood, elves found the kingdom of Arundath, the Quiet Wood. * Circa: Coronal Syglaeth Audark of Illefarn orders a Retreat to Evermeet. The empire splits into separate realms: Ardeep, Iliyanbruen (in Neverwinter Wood), and Rilithar (in Westwood and Kryptgarden Forest). * Syglaeth orders that Aelinthaldaar, capital of Illefarn, be razed to the ground with Elven High Magic. Barely a trace remains of the city, even after its 7000-year-long history.

-11200 DR * Second Crown War: The dark elves of Ilythiir turn savage and use enslaved monsters and undead to occupy the woods of Thearnytaar. Thearnytaar falls to their forces, ending the Second Crown War. Ilythiir openly skirmishes with Keltormir along its southern and eastern borders. * Following the fall of Thearnytar, the sea elves make another sizable migration to the sea. They expand militarily past the Selmal Basin, and begin founding Coranthys, Tor Meraliir, Ullythan Reef, and Ryeniir.
